Spindle is BT40 with 8,100 rpm maximum speed, 22.4 kW (30 hp) direct-drive motor, and approximately 176 N·m maximum torque. Precision inspection shows spindle runout of 0.006 mm, spindle-to-Z-axis parallelism of 0.015 mm in both vertical and horizontal planes, and three-axis repeatability of 0.002 mm. The spindle is equipped with ring coolant. Machine is available for inspection.
