HODAO HD-VL 116 Vertical Machining Center This HD-VL 116 is a vertical machining center built by HODAO and equipped with the Mitsubishi M 80 CNC control system. The machine uses a two-linear-one-box guideway configuration, and the Z axis is fitted with a nitrogen counterbalance for stable vertical motion under load. The spindle is BT40 with belt drive and a maximum speed of 10,000 rpm. Worktable travels are 1100 x 600 x 600 mm on the X, Y and Z axes. An oil cooler maintains thermal stability of the spindle and drive system during continuous cutting. Tooling is handled by a 24-station disc-type tool magazine. The worktable is a T-slot design for clamping of fixtures and workpieces. A dedicated transformer is fitted for the machine's power supply. The machine is used and is presented as configured above; it is offered as a vertical machining center for general milling, drilling, tapping and mold work.
