The Taikan T-800 S is a vertical drilling and tapping center configured for high-speed drilling, tapping and milling. X/Y/Z travels of 800 x 550 x 450 mm cover a 1000 x 500 mm T-slotted worktable, and the 24,000 rpm high-speed direct-drive spindle is paired with a 21-station disc-type tool magazine for fast tool changes and short cycle times. All three axes run on linear guideways, and the machine is fully enclosed. The Mitsubishi M 80 CNC control system handles programming and operation. The machine is well suited to 3 C aluminum parts, new-energy components, mold inserts and aluminum extrusion work requiring precision machining.
