Used Daqian COMPACT B-2520 overhead gantry-type 5-axis machining center, manufactured April 2023 by Daqian Machine Tool (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. The bridge-type gantry structure carries the spindle over the work area and provides X, Y and Z travels of 2500 x 2000 x 1000 mm, giving generous capacity for large, complex parts. The HSK-A 63 spindle reaches a maximum speed of 20000 rpm. Tooling is handled by a 30-station disc-type tool magazine, and the machine is fitted with through-spindle coolant for deep-hole and cavity work. The X and Y axes are driven by direct-drive linear motors for high acceleration and dynamic response, while the Z axis runs on dual ball screws with linear guideways for rigidity and positioning stability. Control is provided by the HEIDENHAIN iTNC 640 CNC system. Machine weight is 45 t and connected power consumption is 130 kVA. The machine is a five-axis gantry machining center configured for precision milling, drilling, boring and contouring of large workpieces.
