DMG MORI DMU 210 P gantry-type 5-axis simultaneous machining center, German-built and equipped for heavy, high-precision multi-axis work. The machine carries the DMU 210 P DECKEL MAHO identification and is controlled by the HEIDENHAIN iTNC 530 HSCI system, a high-end control platform dedicated to 5-axis machining, operated through a 19 in DMG MORI ERGOline high-definition LCD panel. The spindle reaches a maximum speed of 24,000 rpm with an HSK-A 63 spindle taper and through-spindle coolant at 40 bar. The B axis swivels through +/-105 degrees (210 degrees total) and the C axis offers 360 degrees infinite rotation, delivering full simultaneous 5-axis interpolation. Three-axis travel is 1,800 x 2,100 x 1,250 mm over a dia. 1,700 mm worktable that supports workpieces up to 2,500 mm in diameter, 1,460 mm in height and 8,000 kg in weight. The control supports 3 D graphical programming, simultaneous 5-axis machining, RTCP tool center point management and high-precision interpolation. A 60-tool magazine, linear scale feedback and an automatic chip conveyor complete the package. The machine is well suited to 5-axis machining of aerospace structural components, large automotive molds, wind power components and precision large parts.
