Used YASDA YBM-640 V Vertical CNC Jig Boring and Milling Machine

YASDA YBM-640 V vertical CNC jig boring and milling machine, built by YASDA PRECISION TOOLS K.K. and shipped in December 2000. The machine is equipped with the FANUC 16 i-M CNC control system and a BBT 40 spindle running up to 20,000 rpm. All three axes travel on box guideways and are fully closed-loop with linear scales for stable, accurate positioning. X/Y/Z travel is 600 x 400 x 350 mm and the worktable measures 700 x 450 mm. A 30-tool concealed tool magazine provides automatic tool changing. A built-in screw-type chip conveyor removes chips from the machining area, and the machine is supplied with an integrated paper-tape filter and cooling unit that combines coolant filtration with temperature-controlled cooling, plus a Japanese Kanto Seiki oil cooler for the spindle. Machine weight is 7.5 t, serial number 00-VP 761. Offered as a used machine, available for inspection.
