The machine is equipped with the SYNTEC 220 MA-5 PLUS CNC control system and provides 5-axis simultaneous interpolation with tool tip following for accurate contoured work. The BBT 40 direct-drive spindle runs to 12,000 rpm and is oil-cooled; tool change is handled by a 24-station arm-type tool magazine with BT40 taper. A touch probe and tool setter are fitted, and the 5-axis trunnion carries linear scales for precise rotary positioning.
